On the afternoon of Monday, October 27, 2025, the Gallatin County Coroner’s Office, along with the Montana Division of Criminal Investigation, investigated the death of a male killed in an officer involved shooting by Belgrade Police Department. The male was identified as 37-year-old Devin Scheurn of Belgrade. Sheriff Springer would like to thank all the responders who assisted in this investigation.
